Academic article proposes better detection methods for tackling WCST.

An article published in the International Journal of Cybercrime details the scale and gravity of online child sex abuse and comes up with some futuristic methods to track abusers.

A recent article by Kemal Veli Acar of the Cybercrime Department of the Turkish National Police in the International Journal of Cyber Criminology, addresses the problem of what the author describes as "Webcam Child Prostitution" and calls for appropriate and effective prevention strategies for this "heinous act". The article discusses the efficiency of current methods of detection and proposes some "futuristic methods" such as metadata and content data analysis of VoIP (Voice-over-IP/Skype) communications by the private sector and the use of fully automated chatbots such as applied by Sweetie 2.0, for undercover operations.
